Matinecock expanded quickly and moved to better
quarters in the Oyster Bay Bank building in 1894, the first communication
there being held on February 28.

The Oyster Bay Bank building in 1900 before it was
lowered. The lodge rooms were on the third floor from 1892 to
1924.

This is the only known photograph of the interior of the Bank
building lodge room where Theodore Roosevelt was raised in
April of 1901. Note the electric 'candles'.
